Grand Pheno Hunt is a rercurring grow along challenge for GrowCast Members who hunt through a variety of genetics to find the most outstanding pheno in the entire pool.

The Grand Pheno Hunt is available exclusively for the GrowCast Members. All the challenge updates will be posted in our dedicated Discord hunt chat. Join GrowCast Membership and select six plants from seed, be ready to flip into flower on November 1st.
All hunters will flip their gardens into the flower stage on the weekend of November 1 (Halloween weekend) . Make sure you have your selections vegged up, sexed, and ready by then. To officially enter the challenge – post your plant lineup in the Grand Pheno Hunt Chat before November 1, and flip with us on Halloween weekend.
Continue posting regular updates for the entire grow (including a final smoke report) so Team GrowCast can keep an eye on all the hunters and their unique phenotypes.
On February 1st 2026, Jordan and Rhizo Rich will hand select 10 semi-finalists and then 3 ultimate finalists. Rhizo Rich will personally try all of the top three finalists phenos before choosing the winner.
By the end of the challenge we’ll select one grand prize winner to be crowned Grand Pheno Hunt Champion and receive $1,000 cold hard cash! We’ll award several more prizes as well (full prize list below).
👨🌾 To enter the Grand Pheno Hunt you need to be a Growcast Member. You can join Growcast Membership anytime before Nov 1 2025 to participate in the hunt.
🇺🇸 You must be located in the USA or Canada to be eligible for the Grand Prize. If you’re a member residing outside of North America you are still welcome to join the Hunt, and you will be eligible for secondary prizes.
🪴 For this round of the challenge, hunters can grow any GrowCast Seed Co pack of their choosing – OR they can grow a cultivar with a GrowCast Seed Co parent (directly related).
🌿 Each Member will select their final six plants by the flip date of November 1st. All plants must be born from seed, and should be sexed and vegged up by November 1st.
🌱 Your roster isn’t finalized until you post in the Pheno Hunt Chat on flip weekend! Once you’ve locked in your final lineup, you cannot change your Pheno Hunt plants.
‼️ IMPORTANT: You MUST take and keep cuttings of your winning prize pheno in order to be eligible for the ultimate grand prize.
